Year-End Message
What a wild and wonderful year this has been!
At times it felt as if I was riding a wild horse, uncontrollable speed…
It was a year of grief, sadness, despair, but also of hope, celebration, and gifts. AI, Trump, war, sport, death of loved ones, birth of babies, ideas… A year of mixed emotions.
My takeaways of the year:
1. Friendships are part of the foundation of a meaningful life. Who are the friends with whom you feel safe, nurtured, accepted, and loved?
2. Endurance is a component of emotional intelligence. When life is really hard, endurance is a gift.
3. Being healthy is linked to aging. When I am not healthy, I feel 101.
4. Work is life – life is work. I am incredibly grateful that I see work as my purpose.
5. Everyone has a story – just listen.
6. Only a very few, selected people will ever know the “you without the happy mask”; treasure those.
7. Time is precious. Choose wisely.
8. Trust your gut. Tune in to your intuition – you know things.
9. Kindness matters. Start with yourself.
10. Remember who you are and where you come from.
